NEW ADMIN AND PROGRAMS OFFICER APPOINTED
We welcome Laura Diaz as the new Judo NSW Admin and Programs Officer who has commenced in the role mid-April.
Judo NSW would like to thank Bjorn Tandean who previously was the Admin Assistant. Bjorn has transitioned into a full-time role outside of judo and we wish him all the best with his new career.
Laura brings a diverse background to the role, holding a 1st Dan in judo and participating for over 10 years in Shiai across Spain and Ireland. She has also contributed as an assistant coach, sharing her knowledge and love for the sport. Professionally, Laura holds a strong background in Sport and Exercise Science, and has worked as a research assistant and personal trainer.
With a deep passion for Judo, Laura is particularly enthusiastic about fostering greater opportunities and involvement for women in the sport and is committed to supporting the growth of the Judo community across NSW.
